There’s a bit of a cool vintage vibe to Villa Baccarat that makes it feel both stylish and homely, full of original artworks and collectables from across the decades and around the world. It’s totally 21st century from a comfort perspective however, with a new kitchen, beautiful sleek bathroom and a generous 10-metre swimming pool. French doors lead directly to the pool, terrace and enclosed garden from the bedrooms and living room, adding to the chilled out, barefoot holiday feeling that helps you to unwind from the moment you arrive.
From breakfast on the terrace to lunch in the shade and dinner beneath the stars, this is a charming spot for a couple looking to relax and recharge whilst still being within easy reach of shops, restaurants and the beach. Porto Vecchio is one of the most appealing towns on the island, packed with small boutiques, pavement cafes and inviting places to eat, some of which are squeezed into the ancient, fortified walls of the Old Town, with vertigo-inducing views out over the sea below. It’s a pleasure to wander here at any time of day, and the location of Villa Baccarat just a 5-minute drive (or 25-minute walk if you prefer) from Porto Vecchio is a huge bonus if you like to dine out. As you would expect in such a prime spot, there are other villas in the immediate vicinity which means that Baccarat is not as private as some of our more rural properties, but we feel that the convenience of the location more than compensates for this

Having a travel company organise the complete experience from flights,accommodation and car hire was refreshing and all went to plan. Having the assurance of Simpson representatives at the airport and available when at the villa was excellent.
Having spent our first week travelling around France for the Olympics, our week-long stay at Villa Baccarat has been lovely. The pool, in tandem with the air-con, has been very well received. The guest information book plus Sam (awesome concierge!) have all the information you could want.

We had a relaxing stay in Villa Baccarat. A clean well equipped villa with quality kitchen utensils! Plenty of room to stretch out and a very quiet location. The swimming pool was safe and refreshing and a good size! Visited local beach St Cyprian, well worth a visit, had a great day there.
We found Villa Baccarat to be everything we could have hoped for. It is a special place, well furnished, comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, lovely garden and great pool. Quiet, private and peaceful. What more could one ask?
The villa is beautiful and the local Simpson’s team, Claire and Sam, were so helpful. First class. The villa was excellent inside and out, from the well equipped kitchen to the lovely pool and garden. We found it peaceful and private. You know you have the support of a great team when they step in to sort out things outside of their control don’t go right. Our flight left Heathrow without anyone’s luggage on board. Claire and Sam took charge, kept up us up to date and eventually picked our bags up from a later flight and delivered it to us personally. Thank you both.
The villa was lovely, a large pool and the amenities were great. Sam went above and beyond in helping us without looking since the other couple who were due to come with us had to cancel, so she dealt with all the change over as far car rental was concerned. The information book was very useful. Stunning beaches, Palombaggia and Santa Giulia. A trip to Bonifacio is a must, especially the boat trip. A lovely time was had by us.
