Sometimes serendipity plays a part in helping us find a suitable property and with Pelagia this was certainly the case. The owner’s chance encounter with one of our longstanding clients led to the suggestion that if she should ever consider renting it out she should contact us, since our service was the best.
This is deeply gratifying, especially since we are now able to introduce our clients to a real Paxiot gem which radiates charm, style and the warm comforts of a true home from home. The eclectic interiors have been lovingly reinvented by the owner Liz and her daughter Katie and the exceptionally lovely new swimming pool is set in gardens of an acre, ensuring absolute privacy and a wonderful chance to relax and get away from it all. Yet, quiet seclusion does not mean isolation and Pelagia is within walking distance of the nearby village of Magazia where you’ll find a taverna and shop selling day to day provisions, whilst Gaios, Loggos and some of the island’s loveliest beaches are a mere ten minutes away by car.
Set on the hillside, this characterful 3-bedroom villa is designed to make the most of its idyllic west coast location, with all rooms offering access onto the terrace, the perfect place to sit and enjoy the pink glow of a Paxos sunset after another sun-drenched day in paradise.
Please note... the landscaping at Pelagia includes some steep drops and the property is unsuitable for children under 12.

A beautiful villa in a private setting. Gorgeous interiors and sublime outdoor areas. A perfect place to explore Paxos.
A stunning, traditional style villa in a lovely setting and so relaxing. The views of the sea were perfect and the location of the villa allowed for easy access to Lakka, Loggos and Gaios. We definitely plan to return next year.
We have returned to Paxos after a break of 10 years. Before that we came almost every year. Still a beautiful island although slightly more crowded, which is to be expected. Hiring a boat is a must, visiting a cave on Anti Paxos with our lunch from the bakery. Captain Nikos in Loggos is efficient and helpful. We drove to Kipos beach on the way to Loggos every morning – we had it to ourselves, although little shade but good for a morning dip. The bakery in Lakka is very good – try the cream pie if you are early enough! We had a wonderful time in beautiful Pelagia.
Pelagia is the most beautiful villa on Paxos, we fell madly in love. Lily the Simpson Travel rep was simply lovely.
Our choice of Greek properties is as diverse as the islands themselves, ranging from simple seaside charm to genuine luxury and style. Much of our portfolio is privately owned, and price alone is therefore not a universal guide. We contract all our accommodation in person, and each property has its individual appeal. To help you make the right choice based on your own priorities, we have devised a simple grading guide to be considered in conjunction with each individual property description, awarding up to a maximum of five stars for the below categories.

Barely eight miles from tip to tail, Paxos is pint-sized perfection. The only way to get here is by boat from Corfu, which rules out mass development and makes room for a true luxury villa holiday experience. Beloved by the boating crowd, there's a definite buzz in the main summer months and an excellent choice of restaurants that cater for visiting flotilla.
There are few better ways of relaxing than on a luxury holiday in Paxos, where days fill up beautifully with sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and dining in style, the sea just metres from your table. Amble through ancient olive groves and you’ll catch glimpses of startlingly turquoise bays, the dramatic west-coast cliffs or the Epiros Mountains. In spring, there’s also a haze of purple honesty, wild irises and lilies and a sky that’s alive with birdlife, from hawks to skylarks.
Complete the picture with a stay in one of our handpicked luxury villas or our unique Adult Only Simpson Hotels and make the most of this peaceful island.
